About Ovh.com Payment Method?
OVHcloud offers several payment methods for its products and services. Customers can manage these directly from the OVHcloud Control Panel. The different payment methods include Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), PayPal, and a Prepaid account.
When placing the first order, customers are asked to save a payment method for automatic payments. This payment method is then used by default for all renewals and new orders. However, customers can save other payment methods for future use.
To add a new payment method, customers can click on 'Add a payment method' in the OVHcloud Control Panel. They can choose between a credit card or a PayPal account. For credit cards, customers are redirected to a secure interface of the payment provider. A small amount of money is deducted from the bank account to check the card details and their validity. For PayPal, customers can log in to their PayPal account and register it as an authorized payment method with OVHcloud.
Customers can also change their default payment method. Payments for service renewal bills are always taken via the default payment method. If customers want to change it, they need to add a new payment method and then make it the default payment method.
Finally, if customers no longer want to use one of their payment methods, they can delete it. However, if they want to delete all of their payment methods, all of their services must be set to manual renewal.
Please note that all these actions can be performed directly from the OVHcloud Control Panel.
What is the refund policy for OVHcloud?
OVHcloud's refund policy appears to vary depending on the service. For some services, the amount initially paid is refunded, minus the days of services consumed on a pro rata basis, within 30 days of the withdrawal request. However, it's also noted that while it's easy to cancel a plan with OVHcloud, a refund may not be possible. For specific services like NSX, OVHcloud will refund 1 month of hosts and NSX management fees on the next invoice following the order of your new vDC. It's recommended to review the specific terms of service or contact OVHcloud directly for the most accurate information. If the service is cancelled, it will be permanently discontinued at the end of the current subscription. All of the data concerned will be deleted without any possibility of recovery. It's important to back up all of the data before cancelling a service. For domain names, they will be recirculated and can be ordered by other customers after cancellation. The cancellation procedure is identical for the majority of OVHcloud services. To cancel a service subscription, one needs to log in to the OVHcloud Control Panel, click on the name in the top right-hand corner, then on the Products and services button. Next, click the ... button to the right of the service to be cancelled, then Cancel. Specify the reasons for the termination request, then click Confirm. The service will be cancelled on the date of effect listed in the “My services” table. If the status “Cancellation requested” is not seen, refreshing the page is suggested.
